WEST HOLLYWOOD (KTLA) ? Television star Stephen Amell hosted a charity event to fight cancer on Thursday night in West Hollywood.
The star of the CW show Arrow was supporting the organization with a name so ?aggressive? that it can?t be printed here.
?It?s a very aggressive name for unfortunately a very aggressive disease,? said Julie Greenbaum, who started the charity.
Greenbaum founded it in honor of her late mother Joane, who died of ovarian cancer at the age of 53.
The buzz around the charity has been so great that celebrities such as Amell and David Arquette are helping the cause.
?Everybody has had someone who?s been affected by cancer,? Amell said.
