Let?s get started, shall we?
Beginner SEO and Marketing
The Magnificent Seven of Free Web Analytics Tools ? Even the perfect website isn?t so great without a good analytics program to monitor and measure the traffic. Your analytics not only tells you how much traffic you?re getting, but it also can tell you where you?re losing traffic, which pages are working, and where you can grow your business. Not sure what?s out there for analytics? What something with a specific feature, but don?t have a ton of cash to spend on it? Check out the seven free tools in Vertical Response?s post.

Advanced SEO, Marketing & Business Links
Mobile Devices Are Key to Content Consumption ? Been dragging your feet about setting your site and marketing up for mobile devices? And if that was enough to motivate you, check out Jason Falls? BWENY presentation on mobile marketing at Top Rank.
Don?t Put Your Eggs in One Basket: Conversion Through Segmentation ? Visitors use your site for all sorts of reasons. Each type has a specific purpose and set of needs, and if you?re going to meet these needs to maximize your conversions, each one needs its own conversion path. Sound complicated? Don?t worry. Amie Marse did a great job of simplifying this process in her Small Business Trends post this week.

Great Posts Published This Week Everyone Should Check Out
Controlling Your Facebook With Admin Roles ? Early this week, Facebook gave its pages a new feature: admin roles! Now, you can assign different jobs and abilities to all the admins on your page and help keep everyone organized. This post from Rebar Business Builders looks at how this new feature works. (Facebook said it would also be releasing scheduled posts in the near future.)
Google Says Linking to a Few Bad Sites Is Ok ? Matt Cutts recently published a video that explained linking to a few bad sites isn?t going to hurt you any. This is interesting considering all the hype surrounding bad links lately. You can catch iNeedHits? summary of the video on their blog.
Google Penguin 1.1 Update Released ? You might also be interested in Cutts? other announcement this week: the arrival of the first penguin tweak.
Google Acquires Trust Seal Provider KikScore ? If you?re interested in online retail or security, you may be interested in the search giant?s lates acquisition. What do you think of it? Anything interesting going to come out of it?
And while this isn?t exactly a marketing or SEO topic, we did want to bring to your attention the data breach at eHarmony, LinkedIn, and Last.fm this week. If you have accounts at any of these sites, change your password, change the passwords for any other accounts that use the same passphrase, and disconnect/reconnect any accounts connected with them to ensure your business remains safe.
This sounds like overkill, but think about it: If you use the same password on LinkedIn, Facebook, and WordPress, hackers now have access to your website and a good portion of your marketing. Not a comfortable thought, is it? Change them and err on the side of caution.
